50 UK institutions for Education Fair for Nigerians in Abuja and Lagos

The British Council will host 50 tertiary institutions and secondary schools in the United Kingdom(UK) during the Eight annual Education Exhibition in Lagos and Abuja.
The Abuja event will hold on February 17 and 18 at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Maitama; the Lagos event will hold on February 21 and 22 at the New Expo Centre of Eko Hotel, Victoria Island.
The exhibitions will afford the pupils face-to-face interaction with representatives of the institutions. They will to learn about places of study; range of courses; teaching and delivery methods among others.
At a briefing about the fair,the Project Manager for the Exhibition Mrs Adetomi Soyinka said various programmes would, be on offer.

"We have 50 institutions registered to come into Lagos for the exhibition including universities, colleges and boarding schools. They will be there to market their programmes including foundation, undergraduate and of course post graduate programmes and professional development options," she said.
The British Council organises over 50 education exhibitions across 30 countries yearly including countries such as China, Hong Kong, Mexico, Brazil, Pakistan, Kenya Ghana and of course Nigeria.
These exhibitions can attract over 30,000 visitors, bringing representatives from UK institutions face to face with prospective international students.

The British Council Nigeria Education Exhibitions are the largest gathering of UK institutions, students, parents, education professionals, and academics in Africa with an estimate of over 5,000 visitors attending.
