Vacancies: Production Supervisor, Legal Officer

An Oil and Gas Producing Company requires suitable qualified and experienced professionals to fill in the positions:

Position: Production Supervisor (Delta State Office)



Requirements

    * HND or BSC/B.Eng. in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, Electrical, Civil or Process Engineering.
    * 8-10 years cognate experience with demonstrable exposure to oil and gas well production /processing operations on land or offshore.
    * Team Leadership experience.
    * Exposure to the HSE standards in the Oil and Gas Industry as indicated by appropriate Certifications.



Responsibilities

    * Must be able to carry out the following responsibilities:
    * Ensure that operation and maintenance activities in the OH field conforms to best practices
    * Implement Safe-work practices
    * Implement schedules of inspection, well test, production log. function tests, well heads checks etc.
    * Conduct sand checks, swabbing, BHP and other wire –line well activities.
    * Meet quality and volume target for process crude
    * Implement regulatory/environmental compliance practices.



Position: Legal Officer (Lagos Office)



Requirements

    * LLB Degree from a reputable University
    * BL from the Nigerian Law School
    * A professional Company Secretarial Certification or LLM would be an added advantage
    * Minimum of six years working experience in the Upstream Oil & Gas industry
    * Must have good communication and interpersonal relations skills
    * Must have good knowledge and experience in Oil & Gas Compliance issues cum applicable laws and regulations in E & P environment
    * Must be computer literate

Responsibilities

    * Must be able to carry out the following responsibilities:
    * Develop and oversee systems that ensure that the company complies with all applicable Codes of Corporate Governance, as well as all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements
    * Liaise with external lawyers for the provision of litigation services to the Company
    * Maintain Statutory registers and other records required to be maintained by  the Company under extant laws
    * Attending to is relating to the Company’s shareholders and share-transaction
    * Attend to issues relating to Company’s auditors, Lawyers, tax advisers, bankers etc

The British Council in Nigeria is looking for a qualified individual to fill the post of a 'School Examinations Manager' based in Lagos.

PURPOSE OF JOB:
This post is responsible for the operational management of School Exams in Lagos and Ibadan.The post holder will manage the expansion the School Exams business in Nigeria to grow volume and income while ensuring quality standards are met.Accountabilities and responsibilities: (including people management and finance)

Financial control, monitoring and reporting: to manage the School exams business to target by monitoring and reporting income and costs on a monthly basis
Business growth: to grow the business and set country business strategy with CEM
Reliability: to ensure examinations are delivered securely according to board requirements
Quality: to deliver a high standard of customer service to our schools and their candidates. As measured by our own Exams Quality Standards and the inspection visits from Cambridge International Exams.
Impact: to achieve impact for the UK and the BC through providing access to quality UK qualifications
Leadership: to manage and motivate the School Exams team to achieve challenging objectives
