Qualification and Experience:

Ability to work under own initiative and with limited instruction is key
Flexibility on working hours is essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skill

Roles and responsibilities:

Diary and international travel management
Dealing with correspondence, including emails, faxes and post
Taking minutes, producing documents, reports and presentations
Organising corporate events
Dealing with high amounts of the Chairman’s personal work, including matters not directly rotated to the business
Assisting Chairman in dealing with various international business relationships

QUALIFICATION:
Candidates should have good honours degree and higher degrees MLS, Ph.D in Library and Information Science. They should possess at least 15 years post-qualification cognate experience in a Library of an academic institution and must have served as Head of several major Divisions in such a Library. They should also be conversant with modern trends in Library Automation. A significant number of publications in national and international reputable journals showing evidence of active research will be an added advantage.


The Librarian is a Principal Officer in charge of Library affairs and responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the administration of the University Library. The candidate should be a Chartered Librarian of the Professional Association.

Job Description
A Leading Capital Markets Operator require a suitable qualified and experience professional to fill the position of Financial Controller in its Head Office.

Responsibilities

    * Responsible for overall Finance and Accounting activities of the company
    * Actively support the MD/CEO to ensure effective operation and growth of the company
    * Ensure that the financial policies/procedures of the company are implemented efficiently and in the generally accepted practice (NASB & IFRS)
    * Manage the bank and treasury processes of the company

    * Institute adequate financial control systems and process to secure the assets and efficient operation of the organization
    * Develop the financial processes including budgeting, management & financial accounting/reporting
    * Daily & monthly management reports and analyses
    * Monthly, quarterly and annual budgeting and variation reporting
    * Maintain good relationships with all relevant regulatory & statutory agancies and ensure timely rendition of returns
    * Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure the effective operation of the finance and accounts departments


Requirements

    * Must hold a professional accounting qualification (ACA,ACCA, or ACMA)
    * Minimum of three years post NYSC relevant professional experience in accounting or audit related functions with a Capital Markets Operator or an Audit Firm
    * Must have excellent knowledge of PC software such as Excel, Word and Outlook and atleast one Accounting Package
    * Must have good organizational and communication skills with excellent command of spoken & written English
