Position:     Deputy Registry (Department of Registry) CONTISS 14

Job specification:

    * Provide leadership in the management of the University

    * A candidate shall possess a Bachelors degree not below second class and a Master Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration or Management, with fifteen (15) years of University administrative or other relevant experience in a similar organization, play a major role in the administrative leadership of the University, show evidence of contribution to the University management as well as use and application of computer and be of good character.





Position:     Catering Officer/House Keeper CONTISS 07

Job specification:

    * Responsible to the Registrar
    * Provide leadership for the University Cooks/Stewards
    * See to the cleanliness and good maintenance of the University Guest Houses
    * Ensure sale custody of kitchen utensis, cutleries beddings and other appliances in the Guest House
    * Ensure effective and efficient service delivery to meetings/ occasions
    * Perform any other related that the management may assign from time to time



The Right Candidate

    * A candidate shall possess a National Diploma in catering and Hotel Management not below lower credit from a recognized institution plus at least six (6) years cognate experience or a holder of HND in relevant field with three (3) years cognate experience and be of good character





Position:     Director, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) (CONTISS 15)

Job specification:

    * Administration of the ICT Directorate
    * Provide leadership for the ICT Directorate
    * Advise the University administration on the Appropriate data processing policies
    * Guide on the use and availability of computing facilities for research
    * Produce computer operation instructions and manuals
    * Ensure the design and implementation of data processing systems for University Administration
    * Procure and update computer hardware
    * Organize training programmes for computer staff and users
    * Carry out other duties as may be assigned; and

    * A candidate shall possess Bachelors degree in Computer Science not below second class or other relevant field or equivalent professional qualification with eighteen (18) years relevant experience, demonstrate extensive experience in the development and implementation of systems analysis programming and data processing, demonstrate ability to organize and lead the Directorate of information and Communication Technology (ICT) and be of good character.





Position:     Directorate of Consultancy Services: (CONTISS 15)

Job specification:

    * Administration of the Directorate of Consultancy
    * Provide leadership for the Directorate of Consultancy
    * Provide such technical, scientific, professional and other expertise services to all levels of Government, Parastatals Private Sectors and or international Organizations
    * Contribute to the revenues generation capacity of the University and other such other avenues for legitimate earnings for both the University and for its staff as may be sanctioned by the university laws Council
    * Create such opportunities for academic staff to undertake projects that have direct relevance and bearing on the immediate community of the University.
    * Provide educational training at a sub-degree level to those persons who might not be able to undertake the regular programmes offered by the University; and

    * Must have a minimum of at least nine (9) years of post qualification teaching, research and other relevant experience or three (3) years teaching and research experience as Reader
    * Must have a minimum of twenty two (22) publications in reputable journals
    * Show evidence of good performance in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research, ability for academic leadership community services and Administrative duties

Purpose:

The Health & Care Manager will support the WCRR in the management and coordination of  health programmes and activities of the of the Federation in the region through the National Societies.

Qualifications and Skills

These programmes include basic community care, water/sanitation., health components of Disaster preparedness (DP) and (DM) first aid (FA) including community based first aid (CBFA). control of communicable diseases and epidemic psychological support programmes (PSP) and reflect regional and national realities which targets the major  health problems amongst the most vulnerable in the community;
    * Serve as “professional supervisor and health team leader for regional delegation and NS health staff, ensuring good knowledge of relevant policies, strategies, standards and best practices in health care as well as acting as adviser and problem solver;
    * Stimulate and create the right level of working relationship between the NS and its government, especially in health related ministries ensuring NS knowledge about Global funding for Aids, TB and Malaria (GFATM), its country coordination mechanism (CCM), inter agency coordination committee (ICC) and that the NS is well represented where ever possible as a national partner,
    * Analyze training needs for NS and assure support for the NS through trainings in health related areas;
    * Participate in relevant inter agency meetings;
    * Develop partnerships and assure that potential donors are approached for support to health programmes
    * Produce health activity reports and share those with the NS in the region;

    * A First Degree/Higher National Diploma in insurance or actuarial science
    * Should be a partly or fully qualified professional (ACIIN or ACH)

    * A First Degree/Higher National Diploma in insurance or actuarial science
    * Should be fully qualified professional (AGIN or ACII)
    * Possession of higher degree, especially the MBA, would be an added advantage.
    * Have at least 12years post-NYSC work experience in an insurance company or insurance  broking  environment  with  at least  eight  years  in  Reinsurance Department/Division
    * Have a demonstrable Marketing  Skills,  Supervision Skills,  Technical Skills, Presentation Skills, Reinsurance Knowledge, Communication Skills and Industry knowledge.
    * Not more than 40 years old


Position: Branch Manager (Abuja) – (REF: BR 001)

The successful applicant will expectedly have the following attributes:

    * A First Degree in insurance, actuarial science, finance, business administration or any other related discipline
    * Possession of higher degree, especially the MBA, would be an added advantage
    * Should be a partly or fully qualified professional (ACIIN or ACII)
