POSITION
PURCHASING MANAGER (Ref: PMG/2011
THE JOB:
Reporting to the MD/CEO, the person will be responsible for managing all Local Purchasing activities of the company. These will include processing local purchase requisitions, vendor selection, price and contract negotiations, ensuring non stock out or regular required items, market research, resolving vendor problems, maintaining and monitoring departmental purchase data, preparation of budget estimates etc
QUALIFICATION:
Minimum of B.Sc/HND in Purchasing/Supply or related discipline
EXPERIENCE:
10 years relevant experience in the purchasing / Supply function preferably in a manufacturing sector.
