Location: Lagos

Applicants for this position must have the following minimum Qualifications:

    * City and Guilds, OND Qualification or equivalent
    * At least two (2) years’ experience working in regular contact with diesel generators, tanks, compressors, regulating equipment and distribution systems.



Primary responsibilities:

    * Maintenance of Essential generator e.g. caterpillar diesel engine and gas engines
    * Maintenance of turbine driven gas compressors
    * Maintenance and Operation of Diaphragm Pumps, Reciprocating Pumps
    * Experience in Facilities Management of Fuel Tanks and Cleaning of Tanks
    * Maintenance of instrument air compressors.
    * Occasionally preparing demos using ZIP equipment
    * Ensure most economical and effective layout of equipment installations together with achieving high level of productivity in work assigned
    * Must be able to adhere to safety rules and regulations, taking precautions is essential to guard against work hazards
    * Must safeguard, protect and assure the proper use of all ZIP funds and/or property
    * The technician will perform other duties and special assignments as required

Position:     Reader: (CONUASS 06)

In the following Departments

    * Department of Education (Arts and Sciences)
    * Department of Library and Information Science

Qualification and experience

    * Candidates shall possess a Ph.D degree from a recognized institution in their areas of specialization
    * Must have a minimum of at least six (6) years of teaching, research and other relevant experience since the award of the Ph.D or equivalent postgraduate professional qualification
    * Must have a minimum of twenty (20) publications in reputable journals
    * Show evidence of good performance in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research, capacity for academic leadership community services and Administrative duties
    * Be of good character
    * Computer literacy is also an essential requirement.



Position:     Senior Lecturer: (CONUASS 05)

In the following Departments

    * Department of Education (Arts and Sciences)
    * Department of Library and Information Science

Qualification and experience

    * Candidates shall possess a Ph.D degree from a recognized institution in their areas of specialization
    * Must have a minimum of at least three (3) years of teaching, research and other relevant experience since the award of the Ph.D
    * Must have a minimum of fifteen (15) publications in reputable journals
    * Show evidence of good performance in teaching and research, and be of good character
    * Computer literacy is also an essential requirement.

Position:     Lecturer I (CONUASS 04)

In the following Departments

    * Department of Education (Arts and Sciences)
    * Department of Library and Information Science

Qualification and experience

    * Candidates shall possess a Ph.D degree or equivalent postgraduate professional qualification or Master Degree
    * Must have a minimum of at least six (6) years of post qualification teaching or other relevant experience appropriate to that level
    * Must have a minimum of eight (8) publications in reputable journals
    * Show aptitude for teaching and research, and be of good character
    * Computer literacy is also an added advantage.

Position:     Lecturer II (CONUASS 03)

    * Must have a minimum of twenty two (22) publications in reputable journals
    * Show evidence of good performance in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research, ability for academic leadership community services and Administrative duties
    * Be of good character
    * Candidates shall demonstrate ability to play major role in the development of academic discipline and ability to initiate and sustain research in the University,
